Can you believe it as if we don't have enough animals. Sarah brought home 3 kittens the other week. We need some for down the land and sarah rescued them. My only worry is that they will stay at home for ever. The photo is not of the kittens as you can tell but of our friends cat called Cass aka Merlin. He is the prettiest cat I have ever seen.

We say good bye to No 2 Dol De Bretagne, Brittany, France. Mum has sold her and Dad's french house and of course their are mixed emotions for everyone. It meant so much to them both, but now Dad is no longer here, well it is just not the same for this lovely little town house in Dol. Mum did well and we packed loads into the van. Good times, good memories.

CT Scan for Ella

Well after a really rubbish nights sleep for both of us...as they woke Ella up every hour to check her we were told that she would need a CT scan in the afternoon. So we waited and Ella enjoyed some nice fish and chips. She was a bit nervous of the scan as she had seen something like it on Doctor Who...or something! Anyway it all went fine and the scan was negative. I did however look at the screens as they were doing it and I actually saw Ella's brain on the computer screens so I informed Ella after that they had proved she had a brain and that she no longer had any excuses....she must start using it from now on..

We are back..shattered but safely home....

Thank God for safely getting us home and thank the Lord for grit and salt....must try using them around the back patio and drive....!

A&E with Ella

Here we are in Shrewsbury A&E waiting for a CT scan or worse a night in the hospital. Ella fell over on the ice and banged her head the only problem is that her pupils are different sizes which is not altogether normal. I did tell the doctors that Ella is not normal anyway but they won't listen. Keep you informed.

Well I have just been speaking to cousin Kate and she is very excited about her enagement to Simon. Below is a picture of Kate, Roger and Sarah discussing how the whole family could fly out to Las Vegas for the "Elvis Presely" theme wedding in the Chapel of Love.

The wedding next year will no doubt be sold to Hello magazine.

When Kate sees these pictures she will definately want me to do the wedding pics, see how I have captured her at her best........or maybe not.

It was Hadnall school nativity tonight. An interesting night as (I was grumpy another story) so I saw it from a different side. Far too crowded village hall full of doting parents watching their gorgeous children fidget, look at each other because they forgot what to do, some getting upset, some needing a wee and the greatest message in the entire universe going over the heads of probably every adult in the room. We all went to Chester Zoo today. It has been a long time coming and Alice was desperate to see her Elephant that she adopted for her birthday. The weather was great and we had a lovely time. And I am sorry for not posting for a while. Tomorrow is Amy's birthday......love to all.

It was a sad day in the Lord household today as we had to say goodbye to our dog Hollie.
Sarah took her to the vets as she was very poorly and sadly she was put too sleep.
Sarah and I had Hollie a year before we got married and she has been with us for 14 years.
We will miss her.
